Which personal data do we process?
Bax Art Concepts & Services processes your personal data because you use our services and / or because you provide them yourself. We only process:
– first and last name, or login name
– e-mail address
– IP address
– in case you buy a printed book, we also store the physical address your provide to send you your purchase(s).
What about special and / or sensitive personal data?
We do not intend to collect data about minors (younger than 16 years), unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check if a visitor is an adult. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us, then we will delete this information.
What are our purposes for processing personal data?
We process your data for the following purposes:
– to handle your payment
– to send our newsletter and / or advertising brochure
– so you can call or e-mail if necessary
– to inform you about changes to our services and products
– to let you create an account
– to deliver goods and services to you
– for these instances in which we are legally obliged to do so, e.g. for tax returns.
How does automated decision-making fit in?
Bax Art Concepts & Services does not decide how automated processes can have consequences for people. These decisions are taken by computer programs or systems without a person (e.g. an employee of Bax Art Concepts & Services) as an intermediary. Bax Art Concepts & Services uses the following computer programs or systems: the hosting provider’s systems which run the company’s servers, WordPress, the mailing list provider YMLP, and systems necessary for processing payments (Sisow or Mollie, depending on the requirements of the site). These third parties process your data according to their own privacy rules, to which Bax Art Concepts & Services itself is subjected through terms of use. We have no influence on these and do not bear any responsibility for them.
Do we store cookies or track you?
Bax Art Concepts & Services uses only technical, functional and analytical cookies that do not infringe upon your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smart-phone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use – for which we ask your consent when you visit the site for the first time – are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. How long do we store personal data?
Bax Art Concepts & Services does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected.
Can you view, modify or delete data?
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your data, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to send you the personal information we have in your computer file. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, for data transfer, cancellation of your consent, or object to the processing of your personal data by sending a mail to info@baxart.com.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Hide (e.g. with a black marker) your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We respond as quickly as possible, but within four weeks, at your request.

How do we protect personal data?
Bax Art Concepts & Services takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or that there are indications of misuse, please send a mail to info@baxart.com.
Do we share personal data with third parties?
No, never! Bax Art Concepts & Services will never sell your information to third parties and will only provide information if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
